Bartolome Island is part of the Galapagos Islands. It is a volcanic islet near the east coast of Santiago Island. It is one of the "younger" islands in the Galapagos archipelago.

The island is dominated by rocks, low spiny vegetation and sparse tree growth. Darwin's finches, Galapagos doves, vermilion flycatchers, Galapagos snakes, and their own species of lava lizard and giant tortoise are common sights.
North Seymour Island is 1.9 sq. km (1.17 sq. mi) and it is one of the best sites for marine birds in the whole Archipelago. It is situated approximately 7 km (3.89 mi) north of Baltra Island (where the airport is located) and not far from Santa Cruz.
